If you haven’t noticed, we have a tendency to change genres like we change clothes. “Acedia” is no exception, seeing the band delve even deeper into the Black Metal sound established on tracks like “Black Out the Sun”, albeit to a much stronger extent. Impetus launch brand-new single - first to feature vocals

Out of very little promotion - aside from our national radio debut - IMPETUS released a new single on December 4th, 2020 entitled "Black Out the Sun" - the very first IMPETUS song to be officially released with vocals. Out on all major streaming services + more!
Impetus is featured on many radio stations nation-wide

On June 9th, IMPETUS had their debut feature on radio. The song "210 Ways to Dominate" was featured on Adelaide's Three-D radio show, "This is Our Sound". From there, many other IMPETUS songs were featured on multiple radio shows from all around Australia - including another Adelaide show; "Apocalpyse @ WOW fm", Alice Springs' "Eruption @ 8CCC radio", Brisbane's "Heavy Metal Detector on OKR" and most recently; Adelaide's "The Local SA @ Triple Z"

Self-titled Impetus LP celebrates it's 1st birthday - Releases "The Game of Malevolent Vengeance" EP

IMPETUS officially returned into 2020 - where the self-titled IMPETUS LP celebrates it's 1st birthday with "The Game of Malevolent Vengeance" EP - featuring a collection of singles released sporatically between June 2019 to February 2020. "210 Ways to Dominate" - the final single from the EP to be released - was also the first single to be featured on Adelaide's Three-D radio show "This is Our Sound.
Impetus' debut self-titled LP is released to the world!

The debut self-titled IMPETUS LP was released on April 19th, 2019. The singles released for the self-titled LP were entitled "Wake", "Defile" and "Ethereal Planes". "Wake" was released on the 2nd April, 2019. "Defile" was released on 9th April, 2019. "Ethereal Planes" was released on 16th April, 2019.
